The 3x lithium polymer charger was designed as a low cost method to enable students to charge their batteries at a low cost, specifically to support the OPS program. This lithium polymer charger allows 3 batteries to charge simultanously and costs $2.50 per charger (with a power supply), as opposed to paying $10 for a single charger at Sparkfun . Each charger can be charged at the maximum rate of 500mA and has an individual status indicator to show when the battery is charged.
